With the sea and Tylösands beach as its closest neighbours, this is a place to enjoy seafood, sushi, and the exciting culinary twist that is Asian fusion. At one of Sweden's most beautiful locations, a stone's throw from Tylön, Jacob Holmström, together with his wife Emelie, has opened Restaurang Fyr External link, opens in new window.. After running the two-star restaurant Gastrologik in Stockholm for the past twelve years, Fyr is now Jacob's next big venture. The goal is for it to become a large, warm, and lively restaurant. Open to everyone, all year round. The menu is à la carte and the kitchen offers ingredients from both sea and land, but with a focus on fish and seafood.

Come here for a relaxed dinner, or just sit down in the sun with a refreshing drink and some snacks, and gaze at the river.

Add the beautiful view over Nissan, a great wealth of cultural offerings and lots of live music, and you end up with a definite summer favourite.
Livbojen Mat & Bar

The menu contains seafood, of course, a must-have ingredient in Swedish summer, but a lot of other things as well. A tip is to end the evening at the nearby cliffs to catch the sunset on the horizon.

Among wonderful brick walls and arches, exciting dining experiences are served here in a relaxed environment. In summer, you can choose to sit on a lovely outdoor terrace, right on the edge of Nissan with a nice view of the library and Nissastrand on the other side.
