Discgolf in Sannarp

Halmstad may be famous as the Golf Capital, but we do also like golf with a twist. Discgolf (also known as Frisbee golf) is like ordinary golf. Players have to get their Frisbees into the baskets in as few throws as possible.

Sannarp’s 18-hole course is right next to Sannarp upper-secondary school, near Halmstad Arena. Running through both open land and forest, the course’s 2.5 kilometres make a nice and varied walk. Although technical, the course is suitable for both newbies and experienced players. There are ten baskets. Thus, the majority of the baskets have two “tees”. There is a board with a map, rules and tips at the course.

If you would like to combine your round with a little picnic, there are tables and benches at the start and end. A barbecue area adds yet another nice possibility. Wastepaper bins are provided.

If you have not brought a disc/Frisbee with you on holiday, we recommend borrowing from Fritidsbanken at Österskans. Here, borrowing is always free for up to two weeks.

Scorecard

Before you set off for a round of discgolf, print our scorecard. Besides giving somewhere to enter the number of throws, the scorecard also has information on the course rules and a few tips that it may be good to bear in mind.
