About the Website
Prins Bertil’s Trail is considered by many to be one of Sweden’s most beautiful hikes. This 18-kilometer coastal trail winds along the sea, starting in central Halmstad, passing through Tylösand, and continuing to the green and peaceful area of Möllegård.
The trail is named after Prince Bertil, Duke of Halland, who spent many summers here with Princess Lilian at their summer home in Tylösand.
Easy and Scenic Coastal Hike
Prins Bertil’s Trail is easy to reach and walk, taking you through stunning landscapes that include sandy beaches, seaside forests, rocky cliffs, and old stone quarries, as well as marinas and fishing bays. Along the way, you’ll pass breathtaking viewpoints, cozy swimming spots, and hidden places with stories about ancient stone cutting and Viking battles.
