A trip to the theater is like stepping into another world, with scope for new experiences and sensations. Please arrive in good time so that you and your party can take refreshments in the Theater Bar, mingle and enjoy the unique art on display at Halmstad Theater. The doors open one hour before the performance. Welcome!

When should I arrive?

Our doors open one hour before the performance, from which time we will be delighted to welcome you. You should be here no later than 20 minutes before the start of the performance so that you have time to leave your outwear in the wardrobe and find your seat.

Enjoy food and drink before the performance

The Theatre Bar opens one hour before the performance, so why not take the opportunity to enjoy a tasty beverage and perhaps a snack to go with it. If you would prefer a restaurant, we recommend Bistro Jarlen (swe) External link, opens in new window. next door to the theater.

Take an art tour of the theater.

Halmstads Teater is richly decorated with art. The famous artist collective Halmstadgruppen introduced surrealism in Sweden. With us you can see several of their unique works, also specially made for the theater. Let your gaze wander along the walls and lift it towards the ceiling. Enjoy!
