My Feldt

Maybe you’ve heard the old song My Oh My by Slade? They sing, ‘We all need someone to talk to, my oh my. We all need lots of love…’ And that’s exactly what My Feldt offers—a warm chat over a cup of coffee and a pastry in spring 2024.

In the heart of Oskarström, an old cultural building is coming back to life. It’s My Feldt—pastry chef, cook, café owner, author, artist, entrepreneur, creator, and TV personality—who is transforming a heritage-listed brick building from 1891. And she’s doing it together with local craftsmen. In July, Feldts på Skolberget External link, opens in new window. will open its doors. A place like no other. Just 15 minutes from Halmstad. Here, nature is right on your doorstep with stunning views over the valley. Colors and creativity flow freely. This is where calm, harmony, and energy are born. A place you’ll want to be and return to again and again.

We asked My a few questions.

What’s so great about Oskarström?

– The nature and the tranquility. At the same time, there are plenty of activities. If you have kids, it’s a great place to live. The village vibe is also lovely.

What’s your vision for Feldt at Skolberget?

– To create a unique, nature-inspired, and creative oasis you won’t want to leave. A wonderful place where you can spend the whole day. Bring a picnic basket from here and go for a hike. Swim and come back for lunch. There are also plans for a dance floor, concerts, pétanque courts, a bakery, and a greenhouse. Christmas markets, flower markets, harvest festivals–everything fun will happen here.

What do you offer your guests?

– Food and pastries. Always seasonal because it’s both delicious and climate-smart. And in the shop, you can buy gifts designed by me and, of course, tasty artisanal products.

How do visitors get here?

– It’s easy and super eco-friendly because you can take the train or bus. If you want, you can also cycle or hike. Driving is fine too.
