This year's exhibition with Gyllene Tider is now open throughout 2024! It is so much more than just an exhibition. You will get to experience the place where Gyllene Tider broke onto the music scene. All while exchanging fan stories, perusing historic guitars and of course – taking in some great music.

Welcome to book your group for a visit to the exhibition. Join us on a nostalgia trip during the first years of Gyllene Tider. Experience the band's rehearsal sessions. Share their first dreams. Read Per Gessle's handwritten texts. Step into Micke Syd's boy's room and dream away. And not least – try the karaoke together – guaranteed fun!

Guiding in the exhibition

On Fridays and Saturdays, guides will be on site at the exhibition. At other times, the exhibition is open without guides on site.

In the entrance to the exhibition there is a sale of merchandise. You can buy t-shirts, caps, fishing hats, postcards, books, magnets, frisbees and lots of other fun stuff.

This legendary pop and rock group was formed in 1978. Their first rehearsal space was in Harplinge. And then there was fika from time to time at Börje's cafe. Halmstad Stories in the footsteps of Gyllene Tider

Gyllene Tider have really left their mark on Halmstad. Now we have unearthed several tracks that were recorded during the band’s early days in Halmstad. Walk in the footsteps of Gyllene Tider and take a road trip to visit landmarks in the band’s history. Both tours will be released in Halmstad Stories on 12 June 2024.

The film Sommartider

On 17 July 2024, the summer blockbuster was released! It was the cinema premiere of the film Sommartider, which is about Halmstad's beloved band Gyllene Tider.

Follow the incredible story of five guys from the country who became one of the biggest pop sensations of the modern era. In the film, Valdemar Wahlbeck takes on the role of Per Gessle, Ville Löfgren as Mats "MP" Persson, Phoenix Parnevik as Micke Syd Andersson, Lancelot Hedman Graaf as Anders Herrlin and Xavier Kulas as Göran Fritzon.
