Halmstad Wakepark
The old quarry in Grötvik has changed shape and since 2015 has been one of the few cable parks for wakeboarding in Sweden. At Halmstad Wakepark you can try the fast growing sport of wakeboarding, a combination of water skiing and snowboarding on water.
For those who need some help, knowledgeable staff are on hand for tips and instructions, whether you are a beginner or an experienced boarder. Pay per ride, choose between day pass and ride pass or get a season ticket for riding all season. And you do not need to bring any equipment, everything is available for hire on site.
In short, anyone looking for fast-paced activity just has to make a stop here! If you don’t dare to try wakeboarding yourself, it’s almost as much fun to be part of it as a spectator.
Scenic Grötvik
There is more to discover in scenic Grötvik. Next to Halmstad Wakepark is the idyllic marina where you can have a good dinner at Livbojen Mat & Bar (sve) External link, opens in new window. or just sit on the rocks and enjoy the view.
