Luis Ferreiro, Director, Musealia, Titanic The Exhibition 2014: Halmstad hosted the exhibition in one of the most successful cities stays of all these years. More than 70.000 visitors came to visit the exhibition in less than 5 months, in a city of 90.000 inhabitants. This was only possible due to the excellent work carried out by Destination Halmstad, the public company from the Municipality that promoted the exhibition. They are extremely reliable partners in all possible aspects of this industry: organization, logistically, financiallv, marketing and everyday management. Working with them has been extremely easy and pleasant. Their huge professionalism and efflciency has been impressive and we wished all our partners in the tour would be like them. We can only hope to work with them in the future with new exhibitions and projects: having them as partners is a real guarantee of success in any endeavour.
Michel Platini, President, UEFA, UEFA Womens Euro 2013: 2013 year's event has been hailed as the best ever UEFA Women's EURO, with record-breaking attendances in the stadiums, record TV viewership numbers, and over a quarter of a million people visiting the fan zones proving the great success of this initiative introduced for a Women's EURO for the first time. Adding to this the warm hospitality extended by the Swedish people and the incredible commitment of the Host Cities, I, on behalf of all UEFA representatives and staff present at this tournament, can only repeat my sincerest thanks for a wonderful final tournament, which, no doubt, will leave memories in all our minds. The Swedish Football Association has, once again, confirmed its capacity to successfully host a final tournament of high standard and by doing so it has left a legacy in the history of this competition. Consequently, I would like to express my gratitude towards everyone in your country as well as in the association who have worked so hard to make this event a success. Please extend our thanks to the Tournament Director, Mr Göran Havik, to the seven Host Cities: Göteborg, Halmstad, Växjö, Kalmar, Norrköping, Linköping and Solna, as well as to all the staff of the LOC and Host Cities involved in the organisation.
