| In the centre of town most things feel close, and many people enjoy shopping here throughout the year, particularly when the shops open until late. There are many small and eccentric shops, offering both exclusive goods as well as second-hand bargains. |
| Stora torg (Main Square) is the heart of Halmstad. From here you can check out everything happening in the town. The flourishing businesses and Carl Mille’s statue ”Europa and the bull” accompany the jets of the fountain. Open-air restaurants and shops come together along the pedestrianised streets. |

Discover the shops outside the city walls
Brogatan is a long street, and there are many surprises along Norra vägen and Fredsgatan. Fresh fish are available from the fishmonger by Österbro.
Further out, shopping centres such as Eurostop, Stenalyckan and Flygstaden provide everything you’ll need. |
